At the Cancer Treatment Center the team of twenty-five cooks and twenty-five service staff members work together to bring joy and nourishment to cancer patients, caregivers and fellow staff members. Created by Certified Master Chef Jack Shoop, Culinary Refinement offers delicious and economically feasible menu options to entities interested in serving health conscious cuisine. As of 2008, Culinary Refinement joined forces with the Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Chef Shoop has brought extensive restaurant and corporate dining experience to a center dedicated to healing cancer patients. Culinary Refinement is focused on education as the primary tool for executing classic cooking techniques while keeping the health conscious fundamentals in mind.
